We now have vacancies for cover supervisors to work in schools in West and South London.
These positions commence asap.
You must live within London and be flexible to get around schools in the area. You must have experience of working with groups of students.
A cover supervisor is a role created for a non teaching member of staff who is required to look after a whole class.
If you feel that you could supervise work in accordance with school policy, manage the behaviour of students, create and maintain a safe environment for all students, collect work that has been set and give feedback on any issues that arise during the lessons then this is the job for you!
You must be educated to at least degree honours level and have at least 6 months experience of working within a UK secondary school or educational setting. Alternatively you may be an oversea's trained teacher that hasn't obtained QTS within the specified time period (4 years), or further education trained. This also may suit someone who is pursuing a career in teaching to gain an insight into teaching in secondary schools.
