We Are Looking For A Couple To Join Us For The 2012 Summer Season. One Housekeeper/Wait Person & One Kitchen Assistant.

We Are An 11 Bedroomed Country House Hotel Situated In The Borrowdale Valley - 3 Miles From Keswick. We Also Have A Restaurant (24 Covers) Two Lounges, Conservatory And A Bar.

The Positions Going Are:

Housekeeper - This Position Will Require 3 - 4 Days Of Housekeeping Per Week With 2 Days Of Waitressing.

The Housekeeper Will Be Responsible For Hotel Bedroom & Public Rooms Cleanliness. You Will Need To Have An Excellent Sense Of Time Management, An Eye For Detail, Thorough Ability At Preparing Guest Rooms, Able To Manage Fluctuating Laundry Levels And Be Happy To Go About Your Daily Duties With Minimal Supervision. For Two Days P/w You Will Need To Jump Into The Waiter Department To Open-up And Serve Breakfast, Have Daily Duties Organised And Serve Throughout The Evening Dinner Service.

Kitchen Assistant - This Position Will Work Alongside The Head Chef

Your Duties Will Include Assisting The Head Chef In Day To Day Food Prep, Daily Kitchen Cleaning, Dish Washing And Preparing Starter & Dessert Dishes. Additionally, At Least 2 Or 3 Days Per Month You Will Cover The Head Chefs' Day Off (on Those Days It Will Be A Quieter Day & Your Wage Will Be Increased For These Shifts).

Both Of The Positions Listed Will Require People Who Are Legally Able To Work In The UK With NI Numbers & Bank Accounts. Applicants Will Need To Be Fluent In Spoken And Written English. We Look For People Who Are Common Sense-minded, Trustworthy, Hard Working And Are Quick To Think On Their Feet To Deal With All Problems As They Arise. Only Applicants Who Are Fully Available From March Through To November Should Apply - Short Term Will Not Be Considered.

Both Of The Positions Will Be Paid At The National Minimum Wage Of £6.08 With An Initial Trial Period. All Tips Are Collected And Divided Among Staff.

Both Positions Will Be Live-in And Share A Double Room. The Staff Flat Is Newly Built And Equipped And Decorated To A High Standard. There Will Be A Small Weekly Charge For Accommodation. Electricity, WiFi, TV, Heating & Hot Water Is Free Of Charge.

These Positions Both Have A Start Date For The Beginning Of March 2012.
