Remuneration: -£TBA (This will be calculated and paid as a Daily/Hourly Rate)

OTE: -54% OTE

Initial contract duration: 3 months, then rolling 12 month contract

Assignment Brief

Overall Purpose of the Role:

The Corporate Display Account Manager (CDAM) is responsible for managing multiple key accounts within a specific vertical.

Their workload combines maintaining existing client relationships and acquiring new business.

90% of the role is about new business sales. This is achieved through face to face client meetings and via the phone.

They are given responsibility for sourcing their own portfolio of clients. They are responsible for managing a pipeline of clients for the industry they are assigned to. They operate in a self-directed manner, working mainly through telesales and field sales.

They are responsible for designing solutions to meet their clients’ needs, through the use of eBay Classifieds products (e.g. banner advertising), securing revenue through clients signing up to these products. A CDAM’s success is measured in a number of ways, predominantly by revenue-driven monthly and individual targets.
Strong presentation skills are very important along with good PowerPoint and Salesforce knowledge. Revenue is driven through a series of CFS’s including meetings and pitches.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Develops long-term client relationships at multiple levels within the client organization, quickly building rapport to become client’s first point of contact.
• Conducts business affairs with the client both face-to-face and by phone/email.
• Identifies where eBay Classifieds products/services can assist client and add value to their business.
• Maintains and develops the existing client base, in addition to building new clients from scratch.
• Acts as the main point of contact for the client once a deal has been agreed.
• Develops long-term client relationships at multiple levels within the client organization, quickly building rapport to become client’s first point of contact.
• Conducts business affairs with the client both face-to-face and by phone/email.
• Identifies where eBay Classifieds products/services can assist client and add value to their business.
• Maintains and develops the existing client base, in addition to building new clients from zero.
• Acts as the main point of contact for the client once a deal has been agreed.
• Skilled in sourcing clients; identifies the right opportunities to pursue.
• Relentless attention to customer service and satisfaction of client requirements.
• Builds a solid understanding of the client business and considers how new product developments can add value.
• Develops partnerships, long-term relationships, maintaining contact over time.
• Manages client relationships and maintains interest throughout sales cycle.
• Manages post-deal activities (e.g. client ‘on boarding’, integration and support).
• Maintain awareness of future possibilities for product development.
• This competency should be developed soon after starting a CDAM role.
• Understand the product thoroughly, particularly where it can help the client.
• Capable of reacting to media/market trends and provide insight into how product can be amended to help client.
• Product understanding, in order to know how it can add value to the client’s business


• University degree is preferred. However if candidates have significant relevant experience in sales, a professional attitude and a good network of contacts, a university degree is not essential.
