Consultant Neuropsychiatrist/Medical Doctor requires part-time Personal Assistant to work with him in Islington, on the preparation of detailed expert witness reports on Personal Injury and Employment cases.


The applicant ideally should be a qualified solicitor or experienced paralegal, with an LLB. You should be creative, energetic, hard working and cool under pressure. Those who can demonstrate high academic ability and appropriate PA experience will also be considered. Five years in an equivalent job essential.


You will research documents and type and prepare reports for disclosure in Court. Duties also include: answering telephones, typing, mail, and diary management. Also accounts, banking, invoicing, reconciliations, debtor chasing.
There is also academic work - medical and philosophical papers and autobiography.


You must have had five years continuous employment prior to this appointment. 3 days per week – Mon-Wed, some flexi-time essential. Starting salary £28,000 pro rata rising to £31,000.00 subject to performance. 2 weeks paid holiday. Start date: 1st October 2012.
