We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Front Office department as Concierge / Valet in achieving our financial and customer satisfaction goals. You will be part of a challenging department in achieving high standard of customer care, creating the ultimate customer experience within our busy and vibrant hotel. Key aspects to the role are as follows:
To welcome customers
To ensure that all guests checking in and out are offered help with their luggage.
To assist guests in every way possible.
To maintain a presence in the lobby so that there is always somebody available to answer guest's queries.
To ensure that the lobby and entrance area are always clean and tidy in line with the hotel's standard.
To park customers' cars.
Set up of meeting rooms
Keeps self updated on all local events, sights, restaurants, activities etc in order to provide guests with up to date information and assistance
We are looking for an individual who wants to take the lead in their future career within Hospitality, who has the qualities to encourage and empower themselves and the hotel team to take ownership and to participate in decisions that affect them and the business.
The right person must be a team player who can go beyond the guest expectations. Having a Yes I Can! approach to working life is essential for this position. Other requirements;
Full Clean Driving License
Applicant Must be 25 years or above for insurance purposes
Must be fit and in good health due to the demands of the role
Previous experience in a hospitality or Front Office environment would be preferable along with experience in Opera PMS.
