HGV Class 1 Drivers required in Birmingham for a large reputable company to make deliveries to various location in the UK. You must hold a Class 1 License with no more than 6 points, and having experience of curtain siders and RDC (Retail Distribution Centre) experience is essential to this role.

Shifts for this role will be offered at a minimum of three (3) shifts per week and will include days, nights, and weekend work. Employment is on a Temporary ongoing basis.

Due to the customer facing nature of this role, our client is looking for individuals for this position, who have a smart appearance and that are able to be personable. You will be responsible for the delivery of food products to and from RDC's.

Deliveries will be timed, and so a strong knowledge of tacho rules and regulations is also paramount.

Other requirements of these positions are the possession of a digi card and experience with using a pump truck and tail lift as many of the loads will be palletised.

Start times will vary depending upon which shift you are working, therefore a flexible approach to working times is a must.

It should be noted that this position may require you deliver refrigerated goods occasionally and so fridge experience would be advantageous to your application.

Summary
Responsibilities:

Salary/Rate : £10.75 to £14.25
