A Nottingham based Cisco partner looking for an experienced Network Engineer willing to take on an exciting role within a technical consultancy team.
As a Network Engineer you will be part of a team to implement hardware and software solutions for a number of Enterprise clients in new technology fields.
The successful candidate will work on projects and provide day to day troubleshooting and support.
Requirements
The successful engineer would have the following skills:-
Sound knowledge of the following technologies:-
1. Cisco routing and switching in particular 802.1q, Spanning Tree, VTP, trunking and VLANs.
2. Wireless technologies in particular Cisco WLC, Access Points, EAP, WPA2
3. IP Voice technologies including SIP, SCCP, Call Manager, ISDN, PSTN, H323 and MGCP
4. Security technologies including Cisco ASA, ACS, VPN, IPSec
Should be at least CCNA/CCNP level with the appetite to progress and take on new technologies and skills.
Must have full driving license and happy to attend customer sites across the UK.
Must be outgoing, have good inter personal skills and comfortable to continually meet new people.
Willing to got the extra mile for the customer and a positive attitude.
