The role

Were looking for a motivated individual interested in career prospect in a fast growing leading company. Mandarin and English are mandatory.
Cantonese is a real advantage for the position.

Tour operators and travel agents use daily our B2B online reservation system and book hotels worldwide.
They use as well our offline department for VIP, corporate or leisure requests. You will have to confirm Individual/group bookings and take options in the quoted hotel at or below the specified budget within the deadline.
You will have to negotiate and offer the best alternative in order to confirm the groups / FIT

The person will join our team in London for night shift as we need to work in Chinese time.
Full training will be offered to use our unique online system and our offline requirements.

Key responsibilities for this role include to:
Amend, cancel or confirm the agent's requested hotel in our system in accordance with suppliers offer.
Update permanently the booking status in our system and double check in suppliers system and with our IT department
Liaise with suppliers/clients and process their queries quickly and efficiently whilst developing good working relationships
Manage, develop and maximise revenue options
Answer accounts queries within deadline
Select the best alternative hotel according to price, standard and location
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge of hotels/suppliers
Liaise with management and colleagues to provide feedback and identify any new ideas and/or problems
Reporting, analysis
Contact hotels and find space for Individuals/group according to the request
Negotiating rates, free of charges and conditions with hotels.
Liaising with hotels, quotation & operation department
Reduce charges for cancellations and reductions of rooms or any issue with the hotel.
Occasional attendance at trade fairs and events as appropriate.
Contracting and reservations in Europe and worldwide when needed
Signing up agents to use our B2B online reservation system or XML/API integration
Finding new clients for our Offline department
Business development: Contact existing clients to promote products (hotels, Transfers, flights) and help them with the system
Analysis of competitors and industry business trends
Any other task related or non related directly to job description whenever needed
Sales, hot and cold leads
Sending Marketing and Provide support to agents for marketing, product and pricing queries
Translation russian to english and english to russian

skills
-Mandarin and English language speaking and writing is mandatory
-Cantonese would be an advantage
-Proven experience with reservations/operations is an advantage
- Newly graduate from the travel or hospitality industry are welcome.
- Outstanding organisation and communication skills, able to communicate effectively over the telephone, qq, MSN, email and deal with hundreds of queries without loosing track of them.
- Team player, as well as being able to work independently.
- Hard worker and able to handle a very high volume of phone calls and follow ups
- good attitude at work
