An over-subscribed 11-19 school located in South-West London is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative chemistry teacher to work in their growing science department to start after September.
This is a school where teachers successfully endeavour to maintain good levels of discipline and work hard to plan interesting and challenging lessons as well as maintain good levels of behaviour.
This is an over-subscribed school that is highly regarded in the borough. The school is very supportive of their staff and offers a good induction programme for teachers. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and friendly teaching team where there is excellent support from the Head of Department and a generous TA allocation. The school sets high expectations for its pupils and achieves good results (79% A*-C at GCSE).
The school is open to science teachers who have just qualified as well as teachers with more experience. The successful candidate should be able to teach across the Secondary age range and demonstrate the ability to be organised, communicate effectively with pupils as well as promote effective teaching and learning.
