The Really Delicious Food Company Are Now Recruiting For A Passionate And Experienced Chef/ Manager To Take Day To Day Responsibility Of A New Exciting £500k Contract With A Difference In Greenock – Catering For Between 150-200 Persons Daily.
The Successful Applicant Will:
Have Experience Working As A Chef/Manager For A Contract / Event Caterer.
•Have A Genuine Passion For Food And Providing Good Service.
•Have Experience Managing A Team (kitchen And Front Of House Staff).
•Have Excellent Communication & Organizational Skills And Able To Respond Positively And Promptly To Requests From Clients.
•Have Excellent Attention To Detail.
Have Good Time Management And Be Able To Work Independently And Under Pressure At Times.
Experience Of Location Or Outdoor Event Catering Would Be A Distinct Advantage.
Have A Valid Clean Full Driving License.
Responsibilities Will Include:
• Daily Menu Planning, Ordering And Preparation Of Food Provided Within The Budgetary Parameters, On Site Employee Management Of Site Staff And Local Client Relations.
• Ensuing All Statutory Health & Safety Practices And Procedures Are In Place And Maintained
• Ensuring All Services Are Provided To The Agreed And Expected Quality Within The Terms Of The Contract And At The Agreed Time.
• Ensuring Everyone Works Safely For The Protection Of Themselves, Others.
• Maintaining The Bookwork System And Keeping Adequate Records This Involves Accurate And Prompt Reporting Of Financial Data, Personnel Records And Client Information.
• The Successful Applicant Will Also From Time To Time Be Required To Support Other Contracts And Events The Company Undertakes In The West Of Scotland Throughout The Year.
• To Provide Regular Review And Feedback To The Directors On Supply Performance And Review Costs.
• To Assist With The Ongoing Training And Development Of Other Members Of The Companies Central Catering Team When Required. Hours Of Work Will Typically Be Monday- Friday Straight Shifts Between 7.30am – 4.30pm Although There Will Be Occasions Throughout The Year Where You May Be Required To Work At Weekends And Evenings. Due To The Nature Of This Contract You Will On Occasion Be Required To Work A 6 Day Week And Time Will Be Given Back In Lieu, In Addition To 23 Holidays + 8 Statutory Holiday Days Per Annum.
