Family run 75 cover restaurant is looking for an experienced chef or someone looking to progress to head chef position in our vibrant restaurant in Leeds city centre, as the restaurant is gaining in popularity it is becoming increasingly busy so we need people who are very hard working and reliable.

The right candidate should have a passion for cooking, be a quick learner and to have experience with spices would be a great bonus as our restaurant is authentic Mexican.

We are looking for someone to join the team who is a quick learner, quick at prepping and be able to understand the menu and what the restaurant is about quickly, to then help develop the authentic menu further and look to developing a new quick lunch menu.

All our sauces are made internally and we cook with fresh ingredients.

Working Tuesday to Saturday the restaurant only opens evenings.

Salary is dependent on previous experience, this is a Full time position for the right applicant.

You should be available to work a trial shift to support your application / CV.

You MUST:
Have experience in a busy kitchen and passion for fresh ingredients.
Excellent control of stock levels & rotation.
Excellent health & safety practices & current up to date certificates
Excellent time keeping & communication skills are also essential as we are a small team
