Kensington Square Kitchen Is Currently Looking To Recruit A Chef De Partie (this Is A Permanent Full Time Position). We Are An Independant Busy Restaurant Just Off Kensington High Street On Kensington Square. We Are Open 7 Days A Week, Daytime Hours Only Serving Breakfast, Lunch And Brunch.
The Successful Candidate Must:
Have 2 Years Cooking Experience In A Similar Environment And Be Confident With Knife Skills, Food Preparation, And Have A Flair For Cooking And Baking.
Be Happy To Start Work At 7.30am And Work Weekends.
Have Completed A Food Hygiene Certificate.
Is Happy To Be Part Of A Small Kitchen Team And Clear Down As Well As Prepare Food.
Be Reliable And Committed To The Position.
Be Fluent In Both Written And Spoken English.
Be Able To Multitask And Work Quickly Following Instructions From The Head Chef Or Recipes Given. Our Menu Changes Daily So The Ideal Candidate Will Have An Enthusiasm For Trying Out New Dishes And Recipes, Happy To Research New Ideas And Maintain The High Quality And Flair Of The Kitchen At Present.
The Position Is 45 Hours Per Week (5 Days). One Day Will Always Be On The Weekend. Start Time Is 7.30am, Finishing At Approx 5pm. Occasionally You Will Be Required To Work Evenings For Catering Or Private Events.
All Candidates Must Have A UK Working Visa Prior To Application.
Salary £18,000- £20,000- Negotiable Depending On Experience.
