An Opportunity Has Arisen Within Our Well Known Traditional Country Hotel/inn For A Highly Motivated Chef De Partie.

Based In A Picturesque Country Village Just Under Two Miles Inland From Bude And The Stunning Atlantic Coastline Of North Cornwall, We Operate A Close, Friendly, Professional Working Environment, With The Emphasis On Every Member Of Staff Being A Team Player. Our Business Is Growing And We Are Recruiting High Calibre Personnel To Grow With Us.

We Cater For Our Small Number Of Residents (up To 10 Letting Rooms), A Busy Sixty Cover Bar/dining Room And Function Suite To 150 Diners. We Pride Ourselves In Creating Food To A Very High Standard, All Of Which Is Produced In-house Using The Freshest, Locally Produced, Seasonal Ingredients.

We Are Looking For An Enthusiastic, Hard Working Team Player Who Is Looking To Further Their Career. NVQ Level 2 Or Above Is Preferred; Food & Hygiene Certificate And Any Other Related Qualifications Would Also Be An Advantage. Experience Within A High Standard Catering Establishment (restaurant Or Hotel) And A Real Passion For Food Are Essential.

The Position Is Truly ‘hands-on’, Including Preparation, Cooking And All Day To Day Kitchen Duties. You Would Not Be Limited To One Section, But Encouraged To Gain Knowledge And Experience Of All Aspects Of A Commercial Kitchen. Flexibility With Hours Is Essential. A High Standard Of Safety Awareness And Food Hygiene Is Expected.
