They Are Experienced And Well-respected In Their Field, And Aim To Bring In New Charity Donators And Engage Better With Existing Ones. In Delivering Crucial Fundraising Campaigns And Increasing Public Awareness, They Are Always Looking For Enthusiastic Communicators Who Want To Make A Difference.

Charity Telefundraiser;
The Role:

A Great Entry Level Job For Some Commercial Experience, This Role Is Ideal For Those Looking For A Flexible Shift Pattern, A First Step In A Career In The Charity Sector, Or A Wage To Support University Study. They Are Looking For Candidates Who Can Commit To At Least 17.5 Hours A Week. Students, You Are More Than Welcome – As Long As You Can Commit To This Requirement.

The Shift Hours Available Are As Follows:

Weekday Shift Hours Pay Rate Per Hour
Afternoon: 1pm To 4.30pm £6.45
Evening: 5pm To 8.30pm £7.55

Saturday Shift Hours Pay Rate Per Hour
Day: 10.30am To 2pm £7.55
Evening: 2.30pm To 6pm £7.55

Half Of Your Work Hours Must Be Completed During The Evening And Weekend Shifts.
After One Month Additional Shifts Will Be Available To You On Weekday Mornings And Sunday.

Charity Telefundraiser;
The Person:
The Right Candidate For The Job Will;
• Be An Energetic, Vibrant, And Likeable Personality.
• Have Strong Communication Skills, And A Great Phone Manner.
• Have A Good Command Of The English Language.
• Be Charity Motivated, And Resilient Enough To Handle Rejection.
• Be Able To Work The Shifts Stated (at Least 17.5 Hours A Week).
• Be Energetic And Committed And Be Able To Work In A Team.
It Would Be Desirable If The Candidate For The Telephone Fundraiser Role Had;
• Some Experience In Outbound Telesales/fundraising.

The Role;
Your Duties Will Include;
• Contacting Existing And Potential Donators And Encouraging Them To Donate More Regularly.
• Researching And Understanding The Charity You Are Working On, And Representing Them Appropriately.
• Updating The Company Database Of Donators And Contacts.
