They Are Looking To Enhance The PreSales Function Within The Business To Ensure Their Advanced Unified Communicaitons And Collaboration Solutions Retain Technical Integrity, Adhere To Manufacturer Best Practice Recommendations And Are Strategically Postioned In Sync With Their Sales Team. This Is A Growth Area Within The Business And An Opportunity For Candidates From A Related Field, Such As Voice Or Video, To Gain Experience At The Cutting Edge Of This Field.

The Main Purpose Of The New Role Is To Ensure Client Satisfaction And Profitability Via Effective Pre-sales Activity By Providing Technically Correct Designs With Accurate Service Allocations Using Products From The Company Product Portfolio. This Will Be Achieved By Attending Client Meetings, Assisting With Client Demonstrations, Conducting Site Surveys, Providing Data Sheets, Production Of Proof Of Concept Drawigns, Scope Of Works And Other Supporting Documentation As Required.

The Solution Architect Role Is Primarily Focused On Providing Expert Technical Guidance To The Sales Team In The Creation Of Technical Proposals For VC And Associated Infrastructure Solution Design., Specify And Technical Sign Off Of 3rd Party Designed Solutions (as Required) For Clients And Partners And Positioning Of Complex UCC Solutions To Clients.

Responsibilities Include:
 Creation Of Technical Proposal Content As Part Of Sales Process
 Assist Sales Team In Communicating The Positioning Of UCC Solutions To Clients
 Creation Of Design Documentation
 Develop UCC Solution Offerings In Response To Market Demands
 Maintain And Develop Expertise In Cisco Telepresence Portfolio
 Specify And Technical Sign Off Of 3rd Party Designed Solutions (as Required) For Clients And Partners
 Staying Abreast Of Product Roadmap As Well As Understanding The Scenarios, Features And Functions Within Each Of The Products And How These Are Applied To Address Business And Technical Problems..

Skillsets / Qualifications

CCIE Ideally Or Strong Experience In Cisco Telepresence
 CCNP Or Similar
 CCDA Or Similar
 Cisco Telepresence Qualificaions
 MCITP Or Similar Microsoft Experience/certification
 Polycom CMA,RMX,CVE
