Position Description

As The Catering Manager You Will Be Responsible For The Catering Function At The Hostel, This Is A Hands On Role With A Significant Amount Of Cooking Involved. You Will Also Be Responsible For The Management And Control Of The Budget. Working Closely With And Developing Team Members You Will Ensure Professional Development And Delivery Of Excellent Levels Of Service.



Catering Manager Duties

*To Manage The Effective Delivery Of Food & Beverage Service And Consistently Deliver A Positive Experience To All Customers.

*Proactively Review And Respond To Customer Feedback Seeking Opportunities To Improve The Overall Customer Experience

*Manage And Promote The Food & Beverage Function, In Accordance With YHA's Food & Beverage Operating Standards Including; Purchasing, Invoicing, Stock Control And Menu Costs To Minimise Waste

*Drive All Sales Opportunities

*Responsible For Food Hygiene Standards & Regulations, Ensure Compliance

Required Experience

Ideally We Are Looking For Individuals With:

*A Proven Ability Of, Or Able To Demonstrate, Management Of Teams, Preferably Within A Similar Environment.

*Previous Experience Of Working Within The Hospitality Industry

*Evidence Of Food & Beverage / Catering Management And Operational Delivery In Food Service

*Evidence Of Mentoring And Developing Others
