Job Title: Care Assistant / Care Worker / Carer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £7.15 to £9.15 per hour
Our client is a registered provider of high quality home care services to adults. We are currently recruiting for experienced Care Assistants in the Manchester and surrounding areas.
Your role will be to work as part of a team of care assistants to promote and support the personal care and wellbeing of customers in their home, in line with a personal care plan. You will be required to work alone on some occasions.
Preferably with palliative/end of life care experience, you will need to be trained to NVQ Level 2 and be willing to work on a shift rota system which involves daytime, evening and night work. All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced CRB check and references. Car drivers are essential for this post.
Candidates must have the following:
• Experience in care – greater consideration will be given to those with experience in end of life, PEG feeding, residential and homecare.
• Full driving license
• Minimum qualification of NVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care
