Luxury travel brand require an experienced Travel Business Development Executive to join their Central London based team. This is an ideal chance for someone who is passionate about travel with a strong commercial track record already within the industry, using this experience to build client relationships and maximising sales potential.
This organisation conducts their business at the luxury end of the market and their client list includes many VIPs and celebrities. Your target client base will be varied and include organisations from the leisure, media/entertainment, corporate, incentive and events industries.
You will be required to contribute to spearheading the research and recruitment of the worlds leading travel trade buyers and maximise sales opportunities and building long lasting and profitable relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Researching the leading buyers within the high end Contemporary Travel market
Daily sales calls to new leads and prospects
Furthering an already established understanding of the high-end travel market
Identifying key partnerships with associations, agents etc to increase database of new leads/prospects
Database management and development
Regular sourcing of new and relevant leads
Preparation and deliverance of sales presentations
Regular reporting to the Travel Relations Manager on the achievement of recruitment targets and prospects
Working in conjunction with the team to deliver a seamless event for clients
Requirements
Proven sales experience, preferably within the high-end travel industry
Acute awareness of the high-end travel industry and hotel distribution channels
Ability to thrive under pressure and in target-driven environment
Enthusiasm for taking on new challenges/goals
Prepared to repeat cold calls
Willingness to travel frequently
Additional language is preferable, but not required
Excellent organisation skills
