BREAKFAST/ BAR STAFF

HOTEL PORTO LOUTRO
WE ARE A SMALL ENGLISH/GREEK FAMILY RUN BEACH HOTEL
ON THE SOUTH COAST OF CRETE
WE HAVE 2 HOTELS ONE WITH 20 ROOMS AND THE OTHER 27
Our season has already started and I need one more person to complete our team of 6
Our season finishes at the end of October.

Work......Consists of general bar and breakfast duties. Lunchtime snacks, sandwich and cake making etc. On your shift you will be working on your own (except for breakfast) and are responsible for serving breakfast (40 PERSONS +) ordering stock, using cash register, preparing room bar bills, cashing up and opening or closing the bar on your shift. The shift is organized on a roster basis i.e. 1st day 07.00 until 15.30, then you are off until 15.30 the next day. 2nd day 15.30 until midnight (weekends Fri. Sat until 1 am), which means that you have 24 hours off every other day. In your free time you have the chance to go walking in the mountains, swimming in the sea, sunbathing and canoeing etc.

(work 7 days a week).

We keep a friendly and informal atmosphere (clients and staff are of the same disposition) hence I require the "Perfect staff" Criteria: organized, responsible, reliable, trustworthy, flexible, friendly, outgoing, fun, good sense of humour etc.. (must admit I dont always get it but I do try).
Our guests are from all over the world but are mainly English and German so it would be helpful if both languages were spoken, but if not, English is a must. (Greek is not necessary you can learn the words you need to know when you are here.)

PAY......700 euros a month clear. TIPS - a communal till. Normally you can live off your tips (Money goes a long way in Loutro, as there is nowhere to spend it basically you could return with the entire season's wage.)

Accommodation is provided - each has their own room, (two rooms share 1 bathroom), There are 6 excellent, inexpensive tavernas catering for the whole of Loutro (every palette is provided for).
