Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Location: Hammersmith, London

This is young dynamic company looking for a professional, but personable bookkeeper/office manager. The ideal candidate for this role will be well organised and flexible with the ability to work efficiently and effectively. Hours are 9am – 5.30pm 3 days a week (ideally Wednesday to Friday)
Reporting to the Finance Manager.
Salary £16.5k p.a.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Bookkeeping:
• Accounts Payable and receivable
• VAT returns
• Month End reporting
• Cashflow
• Process Payroll, payments and expenses
• Bank Rec

Office Duties:
• HR duties – inc preparation of contracts and new starters docs
• Maintaining company insurances
• Management of all office requirements
• Other office duties

Skills:
• Must have at least 2 years experience in bookkeeping and be proficient in Sage Line50 and Sage payroll
• Good knowledge of accounting
• Must be proficient on Outlook, MS word & excel
• Comfortable to liaise with key 3rd parties (suppliers, lawyers, HMRC, auditors, landlord etc)
• Outstanding organisation and attention to detail and able to use own initiative
• Flexible and willing to help out where required
