Main Duties Include:
1. Creating VAT Returns.
2. Inputting And Processing Supplier/purchase Invoices
3. Data Entry
4. Completing Monthly Bank And Credit Card Reconciliations
5. Balancing Client Payments On A Daily Basis
6. Creating Weekly Management Reports
7. Running Debtor And Creditor Reports
8. You Will Also Be Required To Carry Out Credit Control On A Daily
Basis, So It Is Essential That You Have A Good And Confident
Telephone Manner
9. Identifying Areas For Savings For The Business
10. Creating Confidential Monthly Commission Report For Staff
11. Dealing With Financial Paperwork And Filing
12. Additional Administrative Tasks Such As Filing, Photocopying And
Faxing As Needed. Duties May Also Extend To Stock Control And
Ordering Supplies.
13. Answering Telephone Calls
14. Drafting And Sending Standard Letters And Emails
15. Responding To And Following Up Enquiries (by Post, Telephone
And Email Etc)
Necessary Skills, Knowledge And Experience Required:
1. A Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Book Keeper/Accountant
2. Substantial Experience Of SAGE Is Essential For This Position
3. Good Overall Computer Skills, Including Sound Knowledge Of
SAGE, Word, Excel And Outlook
4. Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
5. You Must Be Able To Work Independently, Use Your Initiative And
Pick Up On Discrepancies And Errors. You Must Have A High
Sense Of Responsibility, An Eye For Detail And The Ability To Work To
Deadlines
6. Methodical, Excellent Organisational And Administration Skills
Including Budget Management
7. Good Time Management And Project Management Skills
8. Punctual And Reliable
9. In Our Business Area, Discretion And Confidentiality Is Also
Essential
