Vacancy - Experienced Book Keeper/Finance Assistant
Based In Pimlico, London (SW1V)
Salary : £20,000 To £27,000 Depending Upon Experience.
Start Date: Immediate Start.
Hours: Full Time Monday To Friday 9am Until 5:30pm.
Nearest Tube Station: Pimlico (Victoria Line), One Stop South Of Victoria
We Are A Fast Growing Ecommerce Retailer Supplying A Vast Array Of Consumer And Professional Healthcare Goods. We Are Based In Pimlico, Central London.
We Require A Full-time Book Keeper To Administer Our Company And Client Accounts. Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria:
1. Previous Bookkeeping Experience Essential.
2. Extensive Knowledge Of Quickbooks Essential.
3. Excellent Understanding Of Double Entry Bookkeeping Including Bank. Reconciliation.
4. Experience In Administration Of Company Payroll And Preparing PAYE Returns.
5. The Ability To Work Back Over Three Years Of Accounts To Resolve Bank Accounts.
6. Excellent Organisational Skills And Ability To Work Methodically Under Pressure Essential – We Have In Excess Of 200 Suppliers. Although We Are A Small Business, The Number Of Invoices We Receive On A Daily Basis Is Significant. We Are Consistently Expanding So The Workload Is Likely To Steadily Increase.
7. Excellent English Speaking And Writing Skills.
8. Ability To Relate Well To Clients And Colleagues In The Office, Over The Phone And Via Email.
9. Ability To Work In A Dynamic, Busy Environment With A Small But Highly Motivated Team.
10. Ideal Candidate Will Have Over 3 Years’ Experience.
11. The Ideal Candidate Will Have AATor CIMA Professional Qualifications.
Main Duties Will Include, But Not Be Limited To:
• Paying Suppliers In Accordance With Procedures.
• Generating Invoices And Credit Notes In Accordance With Procedures.
• Receiving Payments.
• Monitoring Any Outstanding Invoices And Chasing Payments.
• Resolving Payments/bank Reconciliation.
• Respond To Customer Enquires Or Complaints By Telephone Or In Writing.
• Check Statements And Accounts To Identify Errors And Take Necessary Action.
• Routine Administration Including Filing.
• Maintain Accurate Financial Records.
• Invoice Input (large Volume)
• Creation Of Large Volumes Of Purchase Orders For Stock.
• Creating Quotes.
Work Will Be Entirely Office-based.
37.5 Working Hours Per Week. Salary In The Range Of £20,000 To £25,000 Depending On Experience.
