Science (Biology) Teacher: A fantastic high achieving school located in South West London is looking to appoint a science teacher specialising in Biology to start at April 2012 a full time basis. This position is to cover a Maternity leave and will run through until December 2012 at least.
The school performs well in terms of academic achievement (over 90% A*-C grades at GCSE last year) and pupil behaviour at the school tends to be excellent.
The school has be consistently rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted across the board for the past 8 years and the science department is well facilitated and the Head of science is experienced, approachable and supportive.
The successful science teacher will be expected to teach science at KS3 and KS4 and Biology at KS5.
The school is happy to accept applications from newly qualified science teachers as well as from science teachers with more experience. Overseas trained science teachers with a formal teaching qualification are also welcome to apply.
All science teacher applicants should have Qualified Teachers Status or the NARIC recognised equivalent.
