Could fostering be your next challenge?

Right now over 10,000 more foster carers are needed to provide a safe, stable and caring home to children and young people and we need carers in your area.

Fostering takes energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to make a full-time commitment to a young person. You may have had experience from a childrens services background such as youth offending teams, probation officers, youth workers and so on who have worked with children and young people with challenging behaviours and complex needs - we would love to hear from you.

We are also looking for foster carers for children and young people who have previously been living in residential care and who would benefit from the chance to live as part of a family in a fully supported fostering placement.

FCA offers:

We provide the following support package to all our foster carers:

A competitive and professional fee between £320-£660 per week per child
Paid respite
A comprehensive training programme
A local team of social workers, support workers, education specialists and therapists
Regular peer support group meetings
24/7 support 365 days a year
