City Gate Training Centre have had an opportunity to help over a thousand people to get into care assistant/support workers jobs within NHS and Private hospitals as well as GP Surgeries. With over six years of training experience we have built reputation among many hospitals and reputable care agencies.

Course contents:

1. Overview of the Common Induction Standards (as set out by the Skills for Care Council)
2. Basic First Aid Awareness
3. Moving and Handling
4. Taking and recording blood pressure and pulse
5. Taking and recording temperature
6. Urine/Faecal sampling
7. Swab taking
8. Taking weight and height and BMI calculation

After successful completion of Basic Nursing Skills training you will be able to progress towards BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Nursing Skills for Health Care Assistant and Care Support Worker. To do so you will only have to pay the difference between Basic Nursing Skills and BTEC level 3 Advanced Award course fees which is £376.
