Recruiting now for BAR SUPERVISORS

HMV Picture House is a large capacity live music and nightclub venue situated in Edinburgh’s West End, we are currently recruiting for Bar Supervisors who can supervise large bar and floor teams.

The ideal candidate should have previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry and preferably hold a personal licence (or the SCPLH) and a current first aid certificate.

Responsibilities include:
• Running the floor and bar teams during service
• Supervising a large team of staff
• All aspects of bar operations (including but not limited to)
- Stock and cellar management
- Cash reconciliation
- Maintaining bar standards, excellent knowledge of Health and Safety
legislation and bar hygiene
- Staff training
- Customer service and complaint handling

The supervisory positions are on a casual basis, working hours expected to be 30+ as and when required and at £7.10 per hour
