We are looking for a lively AGM to join our team in Cleckheaton. We are looking for someone that can work with us to develop all areas of the bar including food, drink and entertainment. As assistant manager you will have good all round experience of running a credible venue with a love of the industry. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the bar industry. This is a venue that has made its stamp on Cleckheaton, an excellent earning potential for the right person.

TITLE: Asst Manager
LOCATION: Cleckheaton
SALARY: 18,000 20,000

The AGM position includes the following responsibilities:
-Planning your working day/week and staff rotas
-Placing orders with nominated suppliers
-Keeping accurate safety records
- Employing bar staff and training
- Stock control/stock taking
- Dealing with the general upkeep of the bar
-Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and company hygiene policies
-Providing an exceptionally high standard of customer service at all times
-Controlling costs, waste and keeping within set budgets
-Interacting with customers and the Senior Management Team where necessary to ensure a smooth service
- Creating new ideas and drinks menus
- Helping to promote the bar through marketing

The ideal AGM will possess the following skills and attributes:
-Experience within all ranges of the drinks trade(inc experience in cocktails) and ideally within a food service environment
-Experience of catering
-Experience of controlling costs and budgets
-The ability to work alone
-Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
-Creativity
-Flexibility
You must be energetic and passionate and willing to get involved in all areas. You must also have a clean CRB and have or be working to have your personal licence.
