This an exciting new opportunity to be responsible for the day to day running of a new baby unit opened in Horsham Jan 2011, liasing with both the Group Manager and Owner of this group of two nurseries closely located in Holbrook, Horsham.The manager will be responsible for up to 18 under 2.5 year olds per day and a maximum of 6 staff. This is a hands on, supernumery but room- based role and we are looking for a candidate with solid experience in a similar setting and a proven track record of running a successful room as a Team Leader, or as a Deputy or Manager of a small nursery. It is a very diverse role from dealing with parents, staff, maintaining ratios, paperwork and more.

A driver would be essential as they will need to travel between both nursery sites 1km apart.

The salary offered is £16-18K pa, due to the role being care and practise based, rather than office based nursery manager. All main logistical duties are coordinated by the Group Manager, so the role is leading the EYFS and quality practise within the staff team of 6/7.
We are looking for a confident natural leader with at least 3 years experience working with children in a supervisory role.
