The Town Centre Manager’s role is to shape development in the town centre and contribute to its’ vitality and vibrancy to shoppers, residents and visitors. There are a number of key events that need to be delivered in the town to meet the 2013 targets that have been set by the Town Centre Partnership and we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced person to support this critical process.
You will be responsible for the delivery and promotion of a comprehensive events programme and you will ensure the smooth running of any assigned duties. The duties include managing and promoting lettings in the town centre and providing assistance to the Town Centre Manager.
You will be working closely with and reporting in to the Town Centre Manager.
We are not expecting you to have any previous knowledge or experience in town centre management, instead we are looking for an individual with experience in event management and in research, fantastic organisational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a high degree of tact and diplomacy and a desire to get things done.
