My client, a busy bar in Stratford upon Avon, requires an experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role, you will be a natural team leader with an in depth knowledge of wines and spirits as well as a good knowledge of food. You must be well presented and show initiative and diligence at all times.

You must have experience working with cocktails, fine wine and fine spirits and have high standards and knowledge as to how they are served.

The key responsibilities of the job will be to support the senior management team in all operational and strategic matters, run daily staff briefings, oversee staff appearance and uniforms, nurture, train and develop a first class bar team that delivers service in line with agreed standards.

Candidates should have experience of managing large events, the ability to react to a situation to maximise an opportunity or correct a shortcoming.

The salary will be £20k based on full time hours and offers no live in accommodation.
