An exciting opportunity has arisen within this fast paced firm of accountants. We are looking for a self starter to join our busy team assisting owner managed businesses.
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation & submission of statutory year end accounts
Preparation & submission of corporation tax returns
Assisting clients with CIS/PAYE/VAT processing & returns
Dealing with HMRC with regards to queries in relation to Corporation tax, CIS, PAYE, VAT & Self Assessment
Further ad hoc duties that may arise
have strong administrative and numeracy skills
have a strong sense of logic
be able to work on their own initiative
be able to work towards and hit deadlines
This role would suit someone with well developed people skills gained in public practice and who is commercially aware.
A sound working knowledge of Sage and Iris accounting packages along with Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
Experience within public practice is essential.
Salary dependent on experience.
