We Are Working With A Mixed Day School For Students Aged 11-19 With A Primary Diagnosis Of Autism Or Asperger’s Syndrome. The Main Focus Of The School Is To Meet The Teaching And Learning Needs Of Students With Autistic Spectrum Disorders Where These Cannot Be Met In A Mainstream School.

The School Prides Itself On Providing Access To A Broad, Balanced And Relevant Curriculum For All Students. To Facilitate This The School Has Prepared Each Of Its Teaching Areas To The Learning Needs Of ASD Students.

You Will Be Required To Work With A Small Class Of Pupils With Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The Role Will Entail Delivering Core Subjects To Secondary Aged Students. You Must Have Good Knowledge Of Pecs And Makaton. You Must Also Be A Qualified Teacher And Have Previously Worked With Special Needs Students (ASD).
