HATCH Is Is An Opportunity For Artists To Test 10-15 Minutes Of Material In A Relaxed, Informal And Supportive Setting.

On Saturday September 8th 2012 Fallenwall Arts Will Be Hosting Preston's First Contemporary Arts Festival Maps.

Maps Aims To Promote Contemporary Arts Practice Within The City And Is Open To Artists Working Within Any Medium From Performance To Photography, Video Installations To Spoken Word.

Artists Will Show Original Work In A Variety Of Non-traditional Spaces With An Emphasis Being Placed Upon Experimentation And Risk.

Maps Will Develop Preston's Cultural Profile Both Regionally And Nationally Showcasing A Mix Of Both Established And Emergent Artists.

Maps Will Be Wholly Inclusive And Free To Both Artists And Audiences Wherever Possible.
