This highly exciting job involves mixing, hand moulding and baking breads, pastries and other patisserie products. Candidates must be prepared to work unsocial hours, early mornings and weekends. In return, we offer fair rates of pay, a friendly, social work environment and be part of something exciting.
The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside our another baker and Head chef. He/she will be reliable, have experience in this domain and a passion for artisan breads anf good food in general
Long experience is not required, however, a good grasp of quality and great tasting breads is needed. Also, a good knowledge of french bakery products is essential.
The successful candidate will start employment immediately.
We are a small artisan boulangerie / patisserie, unique, quirky and full of character. However, our main focus will be the quality of our products. We are aiming high. Our products will be french influenced, but also selling other continental and british products that are in demand. The neighbourhood has strong french connections.
We sell a good selection of hand made breads, viennoiserie, sweet tarts, eclaires, and are ready to expand our list of products.
Our boulangerie is in London, near Clapham Common, a small but afluent area and our production kitchen is in Battersea.
The staff are friendly and fun, but hard working at the same time. We appreciate hard work and we make sure we reward it.
