My client is a leading integrated agency, based in Shoreditch at the heart of the Silicon Roundabout with an exceptional client list we're now looking for a new addition to the digital team.

Overview

We are looking for a developer skilled in both front end and back end technologies with a large amount of commercial experience building cutting edge solutions to tight deadlines for new media clients and agencies.
You will have a broad skill set, can adapt to new technologies and will have a creative outlook to information architecture and implementation.

Experience:

3+ years practical experience delivering dynamic web solutions and/or production of online applications on different platforms.
Able to interpret briefs and produce technical specifications, system architecture and database specifications to high standards.
Experience of delivering complex projects to tight deadlines.
Hands-on coder who can accomplish both back end and front end tasks.
Excellent PHP, Linux, MySQL and Apache administration skills.
Excellent front end knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, SCSS and jQuery are essential.
Knowledge of AS3, Objective C, Java, node.js and C# a plus.
Good working knowledge of platform architectures and frameworks such as Zend Framework.
Understanding of design patterns such as MVC, Factory, Singleton etc.
Ideally have worked in agency or new media context to produce high volume / mission critical consumer facing web sites or applications.
Have experience of working on collaboratively coded solutions as part of a larger team.
You should be able to plan, prioritize and manage your workload across multiple projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to research and develop emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for production of technical solutions across the full range of the departments on-line marketing and promotion activity - websites, CMS solutions, Facebook apps, web services.
Delivery of small tactical solutions with short (1-2 week) turnaround times.
Delivery of larger strategic solutions with 3 month+ lead times.
Work closely with project producers, client services, creative department, 3rd parties, other developers and other stakeholders.
Keeping ahead of emerging technologies.
Self starter, good time manager and independently motivated.
