We are currently recruiting for an interim Adoption Team Manager in Cambridgeshire.

Key responsibilities:
• To provide leadership in professional and practise development to the Adoption Service
• Manage the planning, allocation of PAR assessments, family finding work, and provide supervision to the adoption social workers
• Review and prioritise workloads to ensure that services are delivered within capacity, departmental policies and procedures, and statutory adoption timescales

We are looking for someone who is passionate about securing excellent outcomes for children, and has sound understanding of best practice in adoption, up to date knowledge of adoption legislation, and the national agenda for change.

We are looking for applicants who have a Social Work qualification, a HCPC registration, and post qualifying experience as a Social Worker, Assistant Team Manager, or a Team Manager within a similar Social Work team, preferably for a local authority. Applicants must be car drivers as visits within and outside the county may be required.
