We are looking for a full time admin assistant to join the purchasing team at one of our contracts. The position is initially temporary until the end of February but ideally they are looking for someone who may be interested in purchasing as a future career, as they may be able to make it permanent.
You will need to be available to interview on Tuesday 4th December anytime between 9 and 5pm, and be able to start work on Friday 7th December, working through until 23rd December and then starting back on the 2nd January 2013. The job is based in Canary Wharf and will be Monday to Friday 8-6pm paying £7.50 p/h through the agency plus holiday.
Key skills/Experience for this role are:
* Microsoft Office - you must have good experience in particular with Excel, gained working in an office environment.
* Great communication skills - you must be fluent in spoken and written English - experience writing emails and spending significant time on the phone gained in a professional office environment.
* Solution based - able to self manage and think logically when problems come up , not needing constant guidance and support.
* Fast paced
You must have at least 6 months experience working in a UK based office.
