**ACTORS/CREW REQUIRED FOR SHORT FILM**

I Am Currently A Final Year Film Student At The University Of Brighton And Am Looking To Shoot A 6-minute Short Film Next Month (March).

I Am In The Process Of Casting For The Film And Invite Anyone Who Wishes To Act Or Get Involved In The Production To Please Get In Touch.

Simon Fickle Is A Short Film With A Distinct And Processed Visual Style. Inspired By The Work Of Wes Anderson And Woody Allen The Film Aims To Reflect The All-too-common Difficulties And Stress That University Students Emerging From Their Courses Face: That Having Spent Their Years Studying To Progress In Life Some Come Out Of University Just As Confused To Who They Are And What They Want To Do.

Film Synopsis:
Simon Is An Outgoing Young Twenty Something Living In Brighton Who's Love Of Films Has Lead Him To Emulate Characters On Screen Within His Immediate Life Without Him Knowing.

Outgoing And Slightly Neurotic, He Is Becoming A Young Adult And Feels Increasingly Pressed To Carve Out His Own Place In The World Through Finding A Job That He Feels Will Help Reflect This.

Through Pursuing Various Different Jobs Simon Becomes Unaware His Choices Aren't His Own And Are Instead Still Directly Relating To Film Characters He's Watched And That He Isn't Finding His Own Direction At All.

I Am Looking For Actors For The Following Characters: -

SIMON Is Aged Between 18 - 24, Outgoing And Slightly Neurotic
Simon Has An Addictive Personality In Regard To Emulating Characters On Screen Within His Immediate Life. He Is Becoming A Young Adult And In Response To His Neurosis Is Trying To Carve Out His Own Place In The World Through Finding A Job.
(1-2 Weeks Shooting)

EMMA Is A Therapist Aged 28+ Who Is Conversing With SIMON Throughout The Narrative. Enacting Traits Of A Therapist She Is Guiding Him Through His Problems, Often With Leading Questions And Friendly Comments.
(1-2 Days Of Shooting + Voiceover)

JASON Is A Young Footballer Aged Between 16-22: Cocky,
Forward And Good-spirited, Jason Is Scouted By SIMON At A Local Football Match. Elusive And Hard To Get Hold Of Simon Tries To Sign Him Over The Phone Whilst Jason Is Busy Playing Video Games Whilst Blaring Out Loud Bass Music.

*Actors Involved In The Production Will Be Able To Receive Footage As A Part Of Their Showreel.

*Everyone Involved In The Project Is Contributing Their Skills And Experience On A Voluntarily Basis.
