Job Description
Assisting the Telecoms World accounts department with their daily processes including responding to invoice and accounts queries, data input, filing, updating customer information etc. This is a junior roll. Training will be provided.
Knowledge and Experience
Experience is not necessarily required however should have finished sixth form or have completed some type of accounting/business course at college level. Alternatively should have 6 months experience working in an office environment.
Should be a competent computer and web user including Outlook.
Skills and Ability
• Pleasant and friendly manner
• Able to work as a part of a team
• Efficient with good time keeping
• Enthusiastic personality and keen to learn
• Positive attitude
Job Purpose
To help our accounts team deal with daily queries from existing customers via telephone and email as well as assisting them in preparation for our monthly bill run, this would include checking payment method and contacting our existing client base to check their details are correct.
Main Responsibilities
• Responding to customer emails
• Dealing with telephone queries
• Ensuring customer account details are correct and up to date
• Generating reports and sending letters to existing customers
• Scanning and adding notes to customer accounts
