Maternity cover 7 May 2012 - April 2013 - full time (37.5 hrs Mon-Fri) with potential at end of contract for permanent role.
· Use of Opera 3 software
· Bank reconciliation
· Accounting functions such as cashbooks, purchase and sales ledger
· Credit control
· Management of petty cash
· Assisting with preparing management monthly reports and forecasts on spread-sheets.
· General finance office administration and all associated tasks
Educated to minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in an accounts environment
Experience of purchase and sales ledger
Experience of credit control
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including competent use of Word, Excel and Outlook
Proven trustworthiness in an accounts environment
Team player who can operate under minimal supervision
AAT qualified (minimum level 2)
Previous experience of Opera software
Financial management/control experience
Experience of minute taking
Customer service skills
Previous experience of book keeping and/or accounts
Other relevant industry qualifications
Salary £14,000 - £17,000 per annum depending on experience.
