Part-time Hours - Permanent with Full-time hours in the peak summer months.

This job reports to the Director of Studies and includes assisting with the following:
- To administer the level testing of all students
* Advising students it is their test week via text, email or in person
* Taking attendance for testers
* Collating online and offline test scores for absent teachers
* Following up on test scores from present teachers
* Reporting test scores to the DoS and inputting them into the company’s online system when necessary

- To manage the stock of student booklets

- To assist with inductions for new teachers

- To maintain the administration of timetables and registers

- Resource management – maintenance of inventory and book ordering

- Placement test administration and invigilation

- To cover shifts in the study centre when necessary

- Blended Learning online site administration
* User upload in the form of XL reports
* Creating new users (late bookings, upgrades etc)
* Changing passwords
* Sending enrolment key to students

Another part of this position will be acting as Attendance Monitor.
These duties will include:

To ensure school systems remain compliant with the UK Border Agency visa regulations for non EU students

- To take an active role in encouraging high attendance levels across all programmes
- To ensure students are well informed of their attendance requirements – keep posters and induction information up to date
- To ensure teachers are aware of student attendance requirements and follow up on missing information from registers
- To be responsible for the processing and filing of both new and completed registers on a weekly basis
- To enter student attendance accurately and efficiently onto the CLASS database and any additional attendance spreadsheets on a weekly basis
- To check reason for absence and to liaise accordingly with the DoS regarding authorised absence. To collect and file supporting documentation and to add notes to individual CLASS records accordingly
- To monitor attendance using the CLASS Attendance/Absence Reporting function
- To follow up unauthorised absence and to issue attendance warnings and expulsion letters as per the KIC Attendance Policy and to notify the BA where appropriate (in liaison with the DoS)
- To keep up to date with changes in KIC’s attendance policy and record keeping guidelines and to ensure such changes are implemented in a timely fashion within the school
- To keep up to date with any CLASS attendance module upgrades

Other General Duties of the post will include:

- To behave in a courteous and professional manner with colleagues and clients at all times
- To deliver a high level of customer service to both existing and prospective students at all times
- To be familiar with good health & safety practices and to respect any such relevant codes of conduct
- To adhere to company dress code
- To adhere to company behavior code
- To attend regular school management meetings
- To develop a good knowledge of the internal procedures supporting the Administration and Accommodation departments of the College.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the DoS or Principal

Person Specification:
We are looking for someone with good admin skills, ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, excellent communication skills, able to use their own initiative and great customer service abilities.
Experience of working with international students is preferred, but not essential.

Dependent on experience, and can be discussed at interview.
