SEN PE Teacher (up To KS5)
A Special Needs School In South West London Is Recruiting A Qualified PE Teacher. The Prospective Teachers Will Need To Have Vast Experience In Teaching Students With Social, Emotional And Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD). The Needs Of The Students Vary And You Will Need To Be A Highly Competent Teacher, Who Works Well Under Pressure, And Will Not Falter As And When The Students Become Challenging. Essentially The School Specialise In Education Within A Therapeutic Environment. Class Sizes Are Small And There Is Plenty Of Good Support. The Successful Teacher Must Be Resilient, Robust And Sympathetic, And Able To Teach Highly-differentiated Lessons. You Must Have Experience With KS4 And Any Previous Experience Within Special Needs Would Be Highly Advantageous Within This Role As It Is A Highly Demanding Role!
The Position Is A 5 Day A Week Long Term Position, To Start Immediately, And Will Possibly Run Until The End Of The Academic Year.
• The Right To Work And Remain In The UK
• Excellent Written And Communication Skills
• A Valid Enhanced CRB Check Within The Last 12 Months (if However You Do Not Hold One Dated Within The Last 12 Months We Can Apply For One At A Cost Of £47).
• Overseas Police Check If You Have Been Living And / Or Working In Another Country For 6 Months Or Over Within The Last 5 Years.
• You Should Display A Proven Track Record Of Pupil Learning Outcomes
This Role Is A Demanding Role And Only Strong Teachers Should Apply, However The Establishment Is One That Offers A Warm And Caring Environment For Students And Staff Alike, They Offer A Strong Support System For Teachers And LSA’s To Assist With The Very Small Classes They Teach.
