This is a combination of the beginners and advanced course teaching you all the Hotel Receptionist Procedures, Brand Standards used in 5* Hotels, Fidelio Opera V5 Full Service software, duties and responsibilities of a Hotel Receptionist, practical training behind a reception desk as well as subjects relating to finding work within Hotels (CV, Profiles, Interviews etc).
Part of small group of students with a dedicated computer for each student you will be taught:
• Understanding the role of a Hotel Receptionist
• Welcoming Guests
• Reservation Procedures (including walk in)
• Booking Procedures (including phone booking)
• Checking for availability
• Sorting rates (Rate Queries)
• Traces
• Routings
• Billings – Guest, Company and Travel Agents
• Rebates
• Paid-Outs
• Currency Exchange
• Hotel Account
• Client Complaint Handling
• Sales and Marketing
• Uk Brand Standards for 5* Hotels
• Hotel Terminology and Phrases
• Sales and Marketing
• Interview techniques including our guidance on how to perform in an interview
• Career path planning for a clear understanding of your future in Hotels
• CV writing skills including our guidance on creating the perfect CV for Hotels

If you have tried to apply for jobs in Hotels, you will see that most hotels require their receptionists to also have knowledge of OPERA SOFTWARE, used by the majority of Hotels in the U.K you will learn to operate and become familiar with this popular system.
