I Am An Active Disabled Woman With A Spinal Injury (wheelchair User) With A Son Aged 6 Years Old, Living In Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. I Require A 24 Hour Live-in P.A To Work From 4pm Monday Evening To 4pm Friday Evening.

Personal Assistants Are Required To Assist Me With My Personal, Social And Domestic Needs, And Any Other Day-to-day Requirements Or Activities To Enable Me To Lead An Individual, Independent And Active Life. You Also Need To Be Able To Handle The Physical Tasks Of Lifting, Handling, Pushing And Bending. You Will Need To Have A ‘can Do’ Attitude And Calm, Practical Approach As Life Is Unpredictable And Your Assistance Will Be Needed For A Variety Of Tasks. These Will Include Some Personal Care, Domestic, Cooking, Gardening, Pushing My Wheelchair Outside And Escorting Me In The Community. Full Job Description Provided At Interview.

Shift May Change. You Will Also Be Required To Cover If Other P.A’s Are Sick Or On Holiday.

YOU MUST BE:
• FEMALE
• Able To Speak AND Understand Fluent English
• A NON-SMOKER – THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL
• Able To Work In UK - Possess A Valid Work Permit If Necessary
• Physically Fit – For Manual Transfers
• Able To Give Details Of 2 (checkable) References
• Be Able To Travel Abroad

IDEALLY YOU WILL:
• Have A Valid Driving Licence
• Have Experience With Children
