There is no mark at the bottom of the guitar - that's just the flash in the picture.

Disclaimer:
-I would advise getting some new tuning pegs at some point, these can be picked up for a few pounds online (check Amazon) as these are starting to age but are currently fine
-There is a small hole on the bottom of the guitar near where the strap would go, but this does not affect the sound

*I wanted to be fully honest so you know what you are getting, this is a great guitar for a beginner and I am happy to send more pictures or let you see the guitar before buying :) *
