I am selling my Scott Mountain Bike - it's the Scale 70 model shown in the picture, and it's a very very good bike - very well built, very light, and very reliable! It was bought originally for £850, which is about what the latest Scale 70 model will set you back - so this is a bargain for a fraction of the price!!

It has front shock absorbers, 21 speed Shimano Gears, and front and back V-brakes. also have the proper Scott mudguards fitted, and has clip peddals (which also have a flat-gripped underside, so you can comfortably ride without proper clip-on cycle shoes).

Although the bike is 6 years old, it has only ever been used a handful of times, and never in the mud, so there is no rust or deterioration of the bike at all. i did have it out recently (3 month ago) and put new inner tubes in the front and rear wheels and put new brake pads on front and rear.

Reason for selling is because I have just moved into a flat and due to lack of storage, have had to change to a folding bike - at present, this bike resides in my mother's shed and is desperately unhappy to stay there - its a bike that wants to be ridden!!

people are welcome to view it before purchasing, however, as it is at my mothers house, my time is limited for viewings and so i really dont want any time-wasters - only people serious enough to buy, because at this price, the first to see will buy!
