I was mis sold phantom of the opera tickets three weeks ago. The user name of the fraudulent seller was Calvin Gibbs. I have proof that it was a fraud and Paypal are investigating the case. Be very careful, people will take your money without remorse. Pay attention to Gumtree advice, only buy and sell in person and check everything before you buy. A good tip with theatre tickets is that a heater can change the names on the seats if they have the booking details. So to check a seller is legitimate then before buying, ask them to simply change the theatre seats into your name (or the name of the person for which you ate buying the ticket) then you can call the theatre to check this has been changed over. If the seller gives an excuse like they can't reach the theatre by phone or that they booked them through a different agency then again just ask for the booking details so as you can contact the theatre yourself. Do NOT exchange any money until you have made precautions and checks like this.
