My model only has 2 USB ports which can be a little frustrating, there is a blanking plate for a 3rd but that wasn't installed on my model.
The multi format DVD-Writer is reasonably quick for a laptop drive, with a max 24x for CD-Writing and will write to CDs, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-R Dual Layer and DVD+R Dual Layer Disks.

The touchpad is sensitive and responsive, and the buttons are quiet and soft, Touchpad also has an area to the side which you can setup for scrolling.
It has an Express Card54 Slot for expansion, 56K Modem for dial up access, 10/100Mbps Ethernet connection S-Video out, VGA out and a Type 3 Expansion Port.
