Fender Blacktop Telecaster brought new by myself only 2 months ago from P.M.T. Birmingham for £474.00. I then had some upgrades carried out bringing the total to just over £610.

The Serial number is MX11217220. A standard Blacktop has the control plate reversed, i wasn't keen on the look and feel and had it changed to original Tele style. Whilst having this done the guitar tech pointed out that the standard Blacktop electrics are pretty much Squire spec components, which is shocking considering the money these guitars cost!

I had new American spec genuine Fender control pots, 3 way switch, jack plug and string guide fitted.

I wasn't happy with the standard Bridge Saddles either, cheap looking and sharp. I had them replaced with some better quality saddles.
