Originally it had an RRP of around £1000. This is a very high quality Trinitron screen made by Sony for Dell. It uses CRT technology, so there is no lag in gaming. It's faster than all LCD monitors, so it's ideal for fast action FPS games. Because of the high speed, it will give you an edge in competitive play. Some hardcore FPS players still use these today.

It was an expensive monitor in its day because of the amazingly accurate colour reproduction. It has more accurate colour than most CRT and LCD monitors. Because of the accurate colour, it was used by professional photographers and graphic designers. Anything where having the right colours is important. It is probably the best 21" CRT monitor ever made.

I have used this monitor for many years and in a few ways the technology is still better than LCD. However, there are a couple of issues with this particular monitor. Firstly, there is some screen burn at the top of the screen. It is from the internet browser I used for many years. Luckily, it is not that noticeable. Secondly, the plastic stand has a crack in it that is just visible in the photos. The stand still works fine though.
